Reflecting on our journey and commitment to the future!
On April 22nd, we celebrate the 55th anniversary of Earth Day — a global event that began in 1970 to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire action. Founded by Senator Gaylord Nelson and organized by Denis Hayes, the first Earth Day mobilized 20 million Americans to advocate for a healthier planet.
Earth Day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. It is a day to reflect on our progress and recognize the work that still lies ahead.
The biofuel industry has played a significant role in the energy transition. On the positive side, biofuels can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and decrease our reliance on fossil fuels.
However, the industry also faces challenges, such as the environmental impact of feedstock production and the potential for increased emissions depending on the production process.
At ConNRG, we are proud of our contributions to the energy transition. Over the past year, our traded products have enabled the savings of approximately 900K mt of CO2eq, compared to traditional fossil fuel diesel. Turning our ambitious climate goals into measurable progress.
This is just the beginning. We have a long path ahead, and we are dedicated to continuing our efforts to create a sustainable future. Together, we can make a difference.
